Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum algorithms with classical systems
- Research and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant operations
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum processor performance
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for complex system modeling
- Create technical documentation and architecture blueprints for quantum solutions
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (Master's with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum system architecture
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Proven experience with high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Strong background in machine learning and AI integration with quantum systems
- Published research in quantum computing or related field preferred
