Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging QIP and topological qubit systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Research novel quantum hardware interfaces and cryogenic control systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum machine learning frameworks
- Secure patents for quantum computing innovations and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior researchers and establish quantum security protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum information processing
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction codes
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or topological systems
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Strong background in complex systems optimization and algorithm design
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical hardware solutions
