Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum circuit architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum-resistant encryption protocols for critical infrastructure
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical HPC systems
- Optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ-era hardware limitations
- Collaborate with cryptography teams to post-quantum security frameworks
- Document quantum system architectures and publish research in top journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault-tolerant designs
- Strong background in quantum mechanics and linear algebra
- Published research in quantum information theory or related fields
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
