Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithm architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum system integration
- Develop error-correction protocols for stable quantum computation environments
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to solve complex optimization problems using quantum advantage
- Contribute to open-source quantum frameworks and publish breakthrough research
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in next-generation computational paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and quantum cryptography protocols
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Track record of building production-level quantum applications
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
