Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processors and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for >1000-qubit systems
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Optimize quantum algorithms for pharmaceutical discovery and financial modeling
- Establish quantum security frameworks for enterprise applications
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum circuit design principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum hardware/software architecture
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems
- Proficiency in superconducting qubit manipulation and cryogenic engineering
- Experience leading $10M+ R&D projects
- Strong background in topological quantum computing models
- Certification in quantum cybersecurity (e.g., QIA)
