Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits
- Develop error correction protocols for quantum systems operating at 10+ qubit coherence
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for cryptography and machine learning use cases
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical control systems
- Document quantum system specifications and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and foster cross-functional innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into executable technical plans
- Track record of delivering quantum computing prototypes under tight deadlines
