Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world industrial applications
- Lead prototyping of quantum error correction systems with <99.9% fidelity
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum coherence times
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (photonic, topological)
- Author patents and publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum information theory
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control electronics
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex R&D projects with cross-functional teams
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
