Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms that outperform classical systems in optimization and simulation
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum system integration
- Research and mitigate quantum decoherence challenges in real-world environments
- Collaborate with government agencies on national quantum security initiatives
- Present breakthrough findings at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging quantum programming paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Proficiency in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing techniques
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business solutions
- Active security clearance preferred
