Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and qubit stability
- Collaborate with physics PhDs to develop novel quantum algorithms
- Translate quantum solutions into real-world industry applications
- Present breakthrough findings at international quantum conferences
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging technologies
- Secure $50M+ in government grants for quantum research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or superconducting systems
- Published research in top-tier quantum journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant designs
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Track record of securing government research funding
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
