Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures supporting 100+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead quantum error mitigation protocols for industrial applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum processor interface specifications
- Create quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Establish technical roadmaps for quantum advantage implementation
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum hardware systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate quantum concepts to business applications
