Responsibilities
- Design and develop quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Lead the architecture of scalable quantum computing systems with error correction protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Research and implement novel quantum gate operations and qubit control methodologies
- Develop performance benchmarks and optimization strategies for quantum processors
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- Secure patents for breakthrough quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture or algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Published research in quantum computing or top-tier physics conferences
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and distributed systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
- Proven track record of leading technical projects from conception to deployment
