Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Research and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Create quantum-resistant cryptographic frameworks for post-2026 security standards
- Present architectural blueprints to CTOs and venture capitalists securing $10M+ projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum information theory
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit design frameworks
- Proven track record of building quantum systems with >99% gate fidelity
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction (surface codes, LDPC codes)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum computing hardware integration
- Strong Python/C++ skills with knowledge of HPC environments
