Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial and research applications
- Develop quantum algorithms solving previously unsolvable problems in cryptography, AI, and materials science
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Establish industry standards for quantum error correction protocols
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on national quantum security initiatives
- Pioneer quantum-ML hybrid systems for autonomous decision-making
- Present breakthrough findings at global quantum summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent with 5+ years quantum architecture experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms or hardware
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and classical-quantum integration
- Track record of designing quantum systems with >100 qubit stability
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or superconducting qubits
- Experience securing quantum-resistant encryption frameworks
