Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with >1000 logical qubits
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software integration
- Research and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate with security teams on post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Drive innovation in quantum control systems and cryogenic engineering
- Present research findings at IEEE Quantum Computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture design
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Experience leading technical teams in R&D environments
