Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Optimize quantum circuit compilation for hybrid quantum-classical workflows
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen quantum hardware
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, quantum memories)
- Architect secure quantum communication networks for enterprise clients
- Contribute to open-source quantum software frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proven experience with quantum circuit design and quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum algorithms (Shor, Grover, VQE)
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (Rigetti, IBM, IonQ)
- Publication record in top quantum computing journals/conferences
- Experience leading technical teams in R&D environments
