Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures using superconducting and photonic qubit systems
- Develop error-correction algorithms achieving 99.9% qubit fidelity
- Create quantum software interfaces for hybrid quantum-classical workflows
- Optimize quantum gate operations at cryogenic temperatures (<20mK)
- Lead quantum system integration with classical HPC infrastructure
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography
- Research novel quantum materials and fabrication techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of quantum computing architecture experience
- Proficiency in QASM, Qiskit, or quantum circuit design tools
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic qubit technologies
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
