You'll lead the development of fault-tolerant quantum processors and hybrid quantum-classical architectures that will solve previously unsolvable problems in cryptography, materials science, and AI optimization.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in finance and pharmaceuticals
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era threats
- Create roadmaps for quantum hardware scaling and error correction improvements
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Translate quantum computing concepts into enterprise-ready solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in superconducting qubit architectures and cryogenic systems
- Proven track record in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance protocols
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Experience with quantum software development frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
