Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D teams to overcome quantum decoherence and error correction challenges
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications in finance and healthcare
- Partner with quantum hardware manufacturers to co-design next-generation quantum processors
- Create quantum security protocols resistant to future cryptographic threats
- Present breakthrough findings at international quantum conferences and publish in top-tier journals
- Drive quantum literacy programs across Fortune 500 partner organizations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and error mitigation techniques
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement, superposition, and quantum gate operations
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and quantum control electronics
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing architectures
