Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum processors exceeding 10,000 qubits
- Integrate quantum-classical hybrid computing solutions with cloud platforms
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit manipulation or photonic quantum systems
