Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Optimize qubit stability and error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical pipelines for real-world applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and NISQ-era computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Mentor junior scientists in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS + 5 years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum simulation frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum assembly languages
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
