Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation applications
- Develop error correction protocols to enhance quantum decoherence mitigation
- Collaborate on cryogenic quantum processor hardware integration
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical models to experimental prototypes
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure and manage research partnerships with leading academic institutions
- Contribute to quantum computing roadmap for 2026 commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Proven track record in algorithm development for quantum systems
- Experience with low-level hardware-software integration for quantum processors
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Ability to secure competitive research funding through grant proposals
