Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms solving complex optimization problems in logistics and pharmaceutical development
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in building fault-tolerant quantum circuits
- Develop cryptographic protocols resistant to quantum decryption attacks
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $1M+ annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates through our industry-academia partnership program
- Drive commercialization of quantum solutions in finance and healthcare sectors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computational Mathematics
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and error correction techniques
- Published 3+ peer-reviewed papers on quantum supremacy or NISQ algorithms
- Proficiency in TensorFlow/PyTorch for hybrid quantum-classical ML models
- Expertise in superconducting qubit manipulation and cryogenic system design
- Proven track record of securing federal research funding
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or quantum annealing
