Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead a team of 8+ researchers in quantum hardware-software integration
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with industry partners to implement quantum solutions in finance and healthcare
- Publish peer-reviewed research and secure government/venture funding
- Maintain compliance with NIST quantum security standards
- Present findings at international conferences including IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum journals (Nature Physics, PRX Quantum)
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams
- Familiarity with quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Security clearance or ability to obtain government clearance
