Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for quantum algorithm development and optimization
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford research partners on 2026 quantum roadmap
- Mentor senior researchers and publish findings in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $5M+ in government/private quantum research grants
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Partner with NASA and Lockheed Martin on aerospace quantum applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in quantum computing with 2+ leadership roles
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Experience securing DoD/NSF quantum research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary research teams
