Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead experimental validation using our 128-qubit quantum processor
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-classical hybrid models
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $2M+ in DOE/NIST grants for quantum research initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent tier
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Strong background in machine learning and classical computing
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control
