Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for NISQ-era devices
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum software/hardware integration
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals/conferences
- Secure government and industry research grants
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates
- Advise on quantum security frameworks for critical infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics (quantum specialization)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Proven grant-writing and collaboration leadership skills
