Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Lead development of error-corrected quantum systems operating at 15-millisecond coherence times
- Integrate quantum processors with classical AI frameworks for hybrid computing solutions
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature Physics or Science journals
- Supervise quantum hardware prototyping using superconducting and photonic architectures
- Develop quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics in healthcare
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and cloud platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, QCE)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement protocols and Bell inequality violations
- Experience with cryogenic systems and microwave control electronics
