Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead collaborative research projects with industry partners in finance and pharmaceuticals
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Optimize quantum circuits for real-world hardware constraints
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Computational Mathematics
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum computing libraries
- Published research in quantum information science or related fields
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
