Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum solutions for real-world industrial problems
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present findings at international conferences
- Develop error mitigation strategies to enhance quantum coherence in next-generation processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to work with quantum hardware from IBM, Rigetti, or IonQ
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complexity theory
- Experience securing government or corporate research grants
- Passion for ethical AI development and quantum security protocols
