Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and cryptography
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to develop fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at international conferences
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to develop quantum-secure communication protocols
- Drive quantum machine learning applications for predictive analytics
- Secure government and private funding for experimental quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with major platforms
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit architectures
- Published research in high-impact journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in complex algorithm design and computational theory
- Experience securing $500K+ in research grants
