Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography and machine learning
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols using our 256-qubit quantum processor
- Develop error-correction frameworks to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical systems
- Publish breakthrough research in leading scientific journals and industry conferences
- Secure external research funding through NSF and DoD grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Proven track record of developing quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Expertise in quantum hardware architectures and decoherence mitigation
