Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum solutions for real-world problems
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit implementations
- Analyze quantum computing market trends and identify commercial opportunities
- Mentor junior researchers and establish best practices for quantum software development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum computing or top-tier computer science journals
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex quantum concepts
