Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop error-corrected qubit systems using superconducting circuits
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects with AI and materials science teams
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure and manage government/industry research partnerships
- mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (required)
- 5+ years experience with quantum gate operations and error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence
