Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Publish in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics fundamentals
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit stability protocols
- Secure $2M+ in government/private research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum SDKs
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with high-performance computing
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap qubit systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
