Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier scientific journals and conferences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate quantum solutions into commercial products
- Secure and manage research grants from government and industry partners
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (e.g., IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and computational theory
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing services and simulation tools
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and secure research funding
