Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world problem-solving
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors with 100+ qubit capabilities
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed quantum research papers
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and decoherence mitigation
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and parallel programming
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental prototypes
