Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Develop and optimize quantum circuits on leading hardware platforms including superconducting and photonic systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into commercial products
- Lead experimental research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Drive innovation in quantum software development frameworks and tools
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum information science
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex research projects and collaborate across disciplines
