Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate quantum decoherence and error correction

- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional AI integration teams
- Secure federal grants (NSF, DOE) and industry partnerships with AWS/Google
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum simulation frameworks
- Published research in quantum machine learning or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement, superposition, and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum circuit optimization and NISQ device constraints
- Strong track record of translating theory to practical implementations
