Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge theoretical models with practical quantum processors
- Publish groundbreaking research in leading scientific journals and conferences
- Develop quantum software frameworks and SDKs for industry applications
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent portfolios
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research or development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences/journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
