Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at cryogenic temperatures

- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at top-tier conferences
- Secure $5M+ in government grants and industry partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals
- Strong background in superconducting qubit manipulation or photonic systems
- Experience securing NSF or DoE grants
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm and QML frameworks
