Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting and photonic platforms
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design quantum processors with error correction capabilities
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for complex molecular and materials science problems
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong publication record in quantum information science or top-tier computer science
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental implementations
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
