Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction techniques to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at conferences
- Drive open-source quantum software initiatives and contribute to quantum SDKs

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware research
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Publication record in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerance thresholds
- Experience with cryogenic systems or photonic quantum devices preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental protocols
- Track record of securing research grants or industry partnerships
