Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and pharmaceuticals
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected quantum processors with 100+ qubit stability
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present findings at international quantum conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum software for next-generation quantum processors
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum computing methodologies and IP protection strategies
- Mentor junior researchers and establish best practices for quantum software development lifecycle
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to deploy quantum solutions for complex business challenges
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum research experience
- Proven expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit optimization
- Published peer-reviewed research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum error correction techniques
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ) and cloud quantum services
