Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for real-world optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional projects with AI and materials science divisions
- Author peer-reviewed publications and whitepapers
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing methodologies
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit coherence times
- Participate in quantum security standardization committees
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit simulation tools
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters
- Strong analytical skills for complex problem-solving
- Preferred: Background in quantum machine learning or topological computing
