Responsibilities
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop quantum control systems
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates in quantum computing
- Develop simulation tools for quantum circuit optimization
- Partner with industry leaders to solve real-world quantum computing challenges
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing research or development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts
