Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Design error-corrected qubit architectures for 2026 quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and computer scientists
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security initiatives
- Secure $5M+ in research funding through grant proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or superconducting qubits
- Track record of translating theoretical research into practical implementations
