Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error mitigation protocols to advance quantum decoherence solutions
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using proprietary hardware
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents for quantum computing innovations
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and experimental physics
- Present findings at international conferences including IEEE Quantum Week and APS March Meeting
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, PRL)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and statistical mechanics
- Proficiency with quantum circuit simulation frameworks (Qiskit Aer, Quil)
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research grants (NSF, DOE, DARPA)
