Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum processors
- Optimize quantum circuit architectures for hardware-specific constraints
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to co-design system architectures
- Create simulation frameworks for quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning integration
- Document quantum system specifications and security protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS + 5 years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Track record of delivering production-ready quantum systems
