The Opportunity:
You will be responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation of our proprietary quantum network infrastructure. This is a high-stakes role requiring a blend of deep theoretical knowledge and practical engineering prowess.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable, fault-tolerant quantum network protocols and topologies.
- Collaborate with quantum physicists and software engineers to integrate quantum processors with existing cloud infrastructure.
- Lead the migration strategy from classical to quantum-ready network stacks.
- Conduct rigorous stress testing and optimization of quantum communication channels.
- Define security protocols for quantum key distribution (QKD) systems.
- Present technical roadmaps and architectural strategies to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Electrical Engineering with a focus on Quantum Computing.
- 10+ years of experience in network architecture, systems engineering, or telecommunications.
- Proven track record of deploying high-performance network solutions in enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and their application in network theory.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and network simulation tools (e.g., NS-3, OMNeT++).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
