We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate Intern to join our dynamic team in Richmond, Virginia. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in retail management and customer service while earning your weekly paycheck and college credit.
As an intern, you will work closely with our store managers to support daily operations and assist in driving sales growth. We pride ourselves on providing a supportive environment for students and recent graduates to launch their careers.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Process transactions accurately at the point of sale.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to maintain an inviting store appearance.
- Learn and explain product features and promotions to customers.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve daily sales targets.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a high school diploma or GED program, or currently pursuing a college degree.
- Availability to work weekends and weekday evenings as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Basic computer proficiency and cash handling experience is a plus.
